The war between the Waesws and the Abrethians

The war between the gods, which the four species took part in, its end marks the start of the age of evolution, and thus the beginning of the first era. The war was so great it tore the world into two. It led to the crafting of two of the most powerful weapons on Namiend, both of which said to be destroyed after the war.
