The birth of Meríо̄nwía led to the first city-state that was powerful enough to be considered a regional power.

Meríо̄nwía was born to a farmer who had a tragic childhood, and fled to the city to escape it, there he met a woman he fell in love with. They attempted to have a child together, but after ten miscarriages and one stillborn, they decided that it was not going to happen. However, Litshmőt took pity on the two, and disguised themselves as an old hag, and told the couple to try just one more time. They followed this advice, and finally they had a child, a daughter, Meríо̄nwía. She was given powers at birth that were unlike anything anybody had seen, she had abnormal strength, intellect, and resilience, amongst many other things.   Meríо̄nwía left to her father's childhood home and got revenge for him by defeating a giant beast, all at the age of twelve. She helped to make her community a better place, and soon she was given the crown of her city. She made this kingdom the most powerful the world had seen to that point.
