Thinw began to march south past the Mendeek Mountains.

Thinw, Ankan's main general, began to march a large portion of his soldiers to the west of the Mendeek Mountain Range. The march was a tremendous feat, as nobody, man or elf, cin or dwarf, had ever seen the mountains that close, and never traveled this far inward of them. Thinw's goal was to take his army through a pass down the southern side of the mountains that Ankan had told him of, and cross the Celdes river. Once crossing the Celdes, he would have a clear shot into Waesws lands, and thus win the war.

He was half way to the Celdes river when the Waesws king, Ssaellen, heard of the invasion from a man who defected and climbed past the mountains from the start of the march. When Ssaellen heard, he had sent a large group of Waesws down to the river Celdes.

Once Thinw had made it through the pass, he crossed the Celdes river and found an army waiting for him. He was outnumbered, and at the battle of Khwth, Thinw retreated back across the Celdes. The Waesws followed him, but he won a resounding victory against them, and he began to march back towards the Celdes, however, he was stopped by the disheveled army at the Celdes, and Ssaellen, along with a few other generals, who came south to fight against the new threat. Which marked the end of Thinw's great march.
