The First Wars

Military: War

The first wars between the new nations of Men.

Brought on in part by the nations surrounding Meríо̄nwía's new nation, fearful of her power, they began to ally themselves with each other and invaded Meríо̄nwía's state.   Each of these countries were defeated and many of them were conquered by Meríо̄nwía. These wars began the tradition of rulers being the only ones to kill the foreign rulers, which would end up becoming the tradition of Kings being gods.   Many nations to the south of the Wars of Meríо̄nwía also began warring to create a nation as large and powerful as Meríо̄nwía's, although they never did quite get stronger. This period was marked by constant warring for ten years, until either no nation was powerful enough to keep going, or was too powerful to have another nation invade.
