The greatest duel in the history of Namiend.

The gods agreed that to end the war without destroying Namiend was to have one last duel. They took two heroes from each side, the Waesws picked a man named Llaethín, the Abrethíans picked a man named Őtō. They took the swords from the gods, and they began their duel. The swords clashed together making noises louder than anything anybody had ever heard. Llaethín swung first, and Őtō ran north. Their running was faster then anybody had ever seen. Őtō stopped suddenly and swung his sword around, to which Llaethín hit it into the earth. Őtō swiftly pulled it out, and with it a great ravine was formed upon the earth's surface, The Scar on the World. When Őtō pulled out his sword, he swung at Llaethín and knocked his sword out of his hands. It flew for many many miles, and when it landed the west was split, and out of it, a large number of islands were formed, millions of them. Llaethín began to run towards where it landed, as fast as he could. Behind him Őtō followed close, but luckily Llaethín was known for speed, so he got his to his sword in only a month. They skirmished for another few days, but Őtō decided run north, within three months they were skirmishing again and Llaethín stuck his sword in the ground in front of Őtō and caused the man to be stranded on an island. Őtō swam back to the continent after two months of swimming. He found himself in the cold northern glaciers. Right by a great mountian range Llaethín had just arrived to get to Őtō. They stood infront of eachother, swords at the ready, but they both shoved their sword in the ground and pushed. The might of this push was so great that the continent lost so much land, a new continent was formed in the north. The two fell deep into their new ravine, soon to be a sea. As the water from the ocean flooded in, Llaethín swung his sword. He swung so hard that when Őtō blocked it, it split both swords into two, and Őtō went flying across the lands, landing in the Taiga forest, dead. Llaethín soon after drowned in the sea, never to be seen again.
