The greatest battle of the Forgotten War

After Thinw made it to the Celdes, he was trapped to the East of the river by the Waesws. The Waesws high king, Ssaellen, ordered the soldiers to stay along the river and not let the Abrethíans pass. This would turn out to be the bloodiest part of the war, with thousands sacrificing themselves across the river. The huge river of Celdes was painted red with blood, but Thinw kept ordering them to cross, for he knew eventually either the northern Waesws would give out, or the Southern. Ankan on the other hand was impatient, he wanted the war to end sooner. So he began to retreat his forces silently. The Waesws, believing it to be a trap only crossed the river after two days, and even then, only slowly pushed forward. However, in a few days they saw a terrifying sight. Ankan had enslaved one of the great beasts, a holy animal to both the Waesws and the Abreth. This disgusting act caused many to defect to the Waesws, but that did not help them escape the giant's march. The huge tortoise stood as high as a mountian and in one step could kill a million.

Ankan marched it to the Celdes, to which the Waesws sent a small band of Cin up as birds to scout, there they saw hundreds of thousands of Abrethíans on the shell of the creature, and on the head it was being controlled by people using magic on it. The Cin thought if they could get to the head, then they could free the beast, many of them died on the way up, and more died upon the head, however, due to the help of Yőtí, the goddess of war, two Cin soldiers managed to free the giant, and with that, the Abrethíans were forced to get off the beast and retreat westward, where they set up in the mountains.
