Death of Meríо̄nwía's Dynasty

After the death of Meríо̄nwía's granddaughter, Klamíо̄nía, a very unpopular queen, her entire dynasty was killed by one of her closest lords' families. The Family of Mekst.

Mekst and his family killed every single member of Meríо̄nwía's family, and took control, renaming her nation's capital to "Mekstad" and crowned Mekst as Mekst I. He cruelly put down any rebellion and claimed godhood, a standard that was becoming commonplace amongst rulers in throughout the city-states, but with its adoption in Mekstad, it became truth.
