The Northern Theatre of the forgotten war was the bloodiest part of the war, where many battles occured.

After the Battle of Kashte Hill, the soldiers of the Waesws marched north having minor skirmishes along the way. Ankan got more soldiers to line up at the tip of the Mendeek mountains in preparation for the Waesws to march into Abrethían lands. However, this attmept was unsuccessful, as the Waesws began to march towards the coast rather than the mountains, as it was less perilous.

The Abrethíans started marching towards the coast in a forced march. They met up with the Waesws at the battle of Kítche, where the Waesws won a pyrrhic victory over the Abreth. They continued their march north until they met again at Kanw, where the Abreth won a victory.

The two sides continued to win and lose victories, and so Ankan's assisstant, Thinw, devised a plan.
