The Forsaken
In all depictions of the creatures, they never seem to have limbs, they have one body and one head, with the body being large and circular, and the head sitting utop and curved into a bended tear shape, with the nose being at a point. They have a knot around their upper body, right below their head, like a necklace.
The other common representation of them, usually the ones that are being fought, are depicted as being void of any eyes, either completely carved/coloured in, or with nothing there at all. They head is more rounded, with their nose not being a point. Finally, they have a wrapping around their upper body as apposed to the necklace the others had.

History
They were a species of peoples with little knowledge surrounding them, they are only attested to ancient Elven artwork, and a single Afespían tale. All of these works are from the Forgotten Era. The Elven artwork show a great battle between two similar looking creatures and elves. The elves seemed to be fighting for one group and not another. The group the elves fought for had pointed noses and a necklace. The ones they were fighting had hollowed eyes and a shawl along their top. They are called the Forsaken because of the Afespían song, which seems to refer to them as the sick ones in southern versions, and in the north as forsaken ones. "As the sick ones were taken to the sea, so too was field for me." Or, "As the forsaken were taken to the sea, so too was that field for ye." It tells of how they were forced into the sea.
