Vire (Vay-rah)
Vire is the oldest living place on this planet. Here is where Namu'Nii is and the cycle of Alyaha begins. Aylaha is essentially the tree of life, a sibling to Namu'Nii. Most life is sustained through Namu and Vire. Since people traveled to Nakut'yun and started taking resources from Vire, Namu has turned the forest into a place that is set out to kill those who enter without permission. With the lack of access to water, Vire is slowly dying and with that, the cycle of Alyah is dimming.
Geography
Vire is a vast, thick Jungle. On the outskirts, the places where most beings get their resources from, the density of the forest doesn't cause too much of an issue. There are paths and enough space between trees to traverse. Further in, the forest gets incredibly dense to the point where carriages cannot be led through and the roots of the trees turn it into a dangerous terrain to navigate. Due to overexploitation the edges of this once vast jungle has been stripped bare, forcing beings to venture further into dangerous territory or starve.
Localized Phenomena
The cycle of Alyaha originates from here. While the center of Vire is the source of all Nakut'yun's natural light the forest itself is always dark. This is due to the dense canopy of the jungle. The outskirts offer some light but further into the jungle the darker it gets.
Fauna & Flora
While this jungle offers sustance, every safe plant has a dozen deadly cousins. Some of these include man eating flowers, plants that tempt you with what you desire only to trap you, spores that will poison, paralyze, or induce halucinations at worst all of the above.
It takes a skilled individual to not only guide you through the death trap called Vire but to also show you what to trust and how to survive.
Natural Resources
While dangerous, Vire is an essential resource for this plantes surival. Within this jungle edible greens are found with an expert eye. On the outskirts a large supplies of easliy defeated beasts. Many people wishing to obtain resources from the jungle will hire adventures. This allowed the payment and meat for the adventures and safety of those needing resources.
