The Planet
Being that this planet is fabricated from my mind, I wanted to provide how the planet functions as well as all the spatial aspects of it.
The Solar System
Nakut'yun is one of two planets, the other planet is called Kwa'akbar that orbit the small star called Naji. Nakut'yun has the larger orbit of the two planets similar to Pluto's. Nakut's years are based on how long it takes Pluto to orbit our Sun. The majority of Nakut's year is spent further away from Naji. Since Namu arrived on the planet and the Cycle of Alyaha started Nakut'yun has only passed one year, with the closest point the planet had the Cycle was at its strongest. To survive passing Naji again Namu and Alyaha need to be restored.
Nakut'yun orbits Naji at a fixed angle, like how the moon is locked in orbit with Earth. The closest part facing Naji is Ekar and the furthest area, where the light still touches, is the bottom of Jorn.
The Planet
Nakut'yun is a small planet with only half of it suited for life. Thanks to Alyaha and the asteroid the planet was able to sustain life. Before the asteroid, there was no water on the surface of the planet. This was because the planet had to face Naji's rays without any protection. After the impact, the crater created filled up with the water that was found inside the center of the planet.
