OKBS

Orbital Kinetic Bombardment System (OKBS) is higly advanced kinetic weapon system used in colossal class spaceships CCS for orbital bombardment. it is weapon developed by UEF for precision strikes to planet surface from orbit. it consists of several meters long rods made from usually tungsten, due to it weight and high melting point. rod is launched and guided to atmosphere by rocket guiding system. AI and laser point system is used to adjust and shift the rod in atmosphere for maximum accuracy. size of these launch system is varied between different ships, but usually are capable to launch at least three rods at the same time. one of the biggest systems is in UEF Invictus which is capable of launching 12 rods at the same time.
