Fey Ascension
Fey Ascension is a rare, awe-inspiring transformation triggered by the rise of Fenros’s Huntstar, a massive wandering celestial body believed to be the spiritual manifestation of Fenros himself — god of the wild, untamed instincts, and cyclical life. As the Huntstar draws near Mythralune’s skies every few decades, certain mortals undergo a profound metamorphosis, becoming beings woven from raw nature and bound closer to the fey.
This process is less a curse or blessing than a wild reclamation, as Fenros calls select souls to join the primal tapestry, embracing instincts, magic, and forms far removed from their old mortal lives.

Manifestation
- As the Huntstar rises, the skies fracture into swirling emerald and silver auroras, sometimes laced with faint howls carried on wind that seems to speak.
- Those touched by Fey Ascension feel their blood pulse with an emerald glow visible beneath their skin. Eyes reflect starlight, and shadows around them teem with small spectral beasts — foxes, stags, wolves — as if Fenros’s lesser spirits are drawn to them.
- Flowers and vines spontaneously bloom along their footprints, or moss creeps up walls they lean against.
- As transformation deepens, horns, antlers, or trailing tendrils of living foliage erupt. Hair becomes like wild reeds or blossoms. Voices gain undertones that echo with forest murmurs.
Localization
- Primarily occurs in deep woodlands, remote highlands, or places suffused with strong ley lines tied to Fenros, often marked by ancient stone circles or druidic altars.
- More common in the Lilted Vale, where nature’s pulse is closest to the surface.
- Rarely, it happens in city gardens or overgrown ruins if the Huntstar’s influence is unusually strong, creating pockets of sudden wildness in urban spaces.
