Centaurs

Protectors of the wild, Centaurs are roamers at heart, centaurs love open spaces and the freedom to travel. As much as they can, centaurs run. They race the wind, hooves thundering and tails streaming behind them. Centaurs are mostly found in the forests of Riggard and Deynslorn. There are a few living in the deserts of the Jaggerals aswell.   Centaurs have humanoid upper bodies, displaying all the human variety of skin tones and features. In size, they are comparable to a human rider mounted on a horse, however they are so much more, while a rider might be in tuned with his mount, a centaur is his own mount, able to reach the same speed as a riding horse in full gallop and turning and twisting within a fraction of a second.   Centaurs’ ears are slightly pointed, but their faces are more wide and square than those of elves. Below the waist, they have the bodies of horses, with coats tending toward any color depending on what region they occupy, there are many tribes around the different forests of Mythra, where their colors range from white to brown to black.
