Vanna: The Green Lady
Vanna (a.k.a. The Green Lady)
Vanna is Tyr’s spouse, and is as different from him as fire is from water. While he loves smithing, gems, gold, and craftsmen, she loves all growing things, from trees to moss, or the small and secret things in the mould. She is held next in reverence to Varda among the Queens of Glory, and is close to equal in power and beauty. In the form of a woman she is tall, and robed in green; but at times she takes other shapes. Queen of the Earth, she is surnamed in the Elven tongue, and she is beloved of them. Vanna cares little for the Dwarves, the work of her husband, because they do not share her love of growing things, but she will grant them boons if they pay her reverence. Instead, she loves the Elves for they love her creations, and the Halflings for they were born of her Sylvar, and they love flowers and gardens. Vanna did not take an active part in the Rending, but she and her Sylvar fought to protect as much of the growing things as they could, and it was due in large part to their efforts that the earth was renewed afterwards.
Vanna is revered by those who rely on the earth for their trade, be that farmers, winery owners, shepherds, or gardeners. She is especially popular among Halflings, due in large part to their love of gardens. Her shrines are not located in temples, but parks and forest glades. They are covered in flowers, and the priests tend to them tirelessly. They wear flower crowns and walk barefoot on the grass. During Spring festivals, they decorate the towns with garlands and plants, and hand flower crowns to all the children. They care for growing things and cultivation, and pray for the proper amounts of rain and sunshine.

Tenets of Faith
A garden needs to be cultivated in order to thrive.
Sometimes a plant needs to be pruned in order to grow into its full potential.
Plants can grow on their own, but the gardener will provide for and guide them to a more productive state of being.
Rain and sunshine are both required for a garden to grow, and seasons will continue to turn. Hard times will pass, and the sun will shine again.
Gentle beauty makes the world a better place. Turn your face towards the sun and be patient, and you will grow.
