Elves Common
Elves are the most common folk of Myth. They come in all shapes and sizes, though most only live as long as Humans in those days, around 500-600 years. Though while humans grew withered and wrinkly, Elves remained youthful looking until their final 200 years of life. It was once a joke among the elder humans and elves.

Naming Traditions
Common Elves like to name their children after Nature; River, Meadow, Pod, Branch etc. Though now and then Elves will name their child after something else such as a virtue or other such things; Fable, Noble, Blade, Wander, etc.
Major Organizations
Keepers - People chosen by the Fox Drakes to guide the keeper in Magic in a certain area; a Guardian of Water will Specialize in Water Magic, and will choose someone adept with this element to grow that talent.
The Sages - These were an order of Keepers that were thought to be the Best of the Best. These were often Keepers of certain Elements; Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Soul. The Sages disbanded after the Fall of the Golden Age, feeling they failed in their duty to keep Magic in Balance.
The Royals: The Elven Royal family was chosen by the Sages when the Golden Age ended to guide the Elven people in Myth and to help rebuild. The Sages did give advice for a time before they disbanded, but soon faded into memory.
Beauty Ideals
hair is very symbolic for elves. The longer hair you have the lovelier, and most prefer fiery red hair as old tales say that Red hair has a connection to magic and terra. Though this is a wives tale. For Weddings, instead of wedding rings, lockets are exchanged with a lock of their loves hair inside. To propose, an open locket is presented.
When an elf is disgraced, they're forced to cut their hair and burn the cuttings.
In times of war, the length of a Royal Elf's hair symbolized how long of peace they've reigned over. So when an Elven King cut his his hair, war was coming. He'd then send the cut hair to his enemy as a declaration of war.
Gender Ideals
The elves strongly believe that you are born the way you are for a reason, and to deny that is to deny Terra and her task for them.
Female Elves are thought to be more connected to Magic as they bring life into the world and continue the family lineages. While Males are physically stronger and are usually set as the protectors of the Family.
Common Myths and Legends
The most well known Myth and Legend would be Kyrie, the Wandering Gardener. He's the only Elf to have seen the birth of Myth, as he was the elf the Fox Drakes had asked help from. His life is now tied to Terra, and he wanders Myth tending to the Magic and making sure things are in order. And so he's called the Wandering Gardener.
he's a master of Magic, and all the Fox Drakes honor his presence when he visits.
He also calls everyone Kid or Kiddo.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Not common, though it's more common for adults to adopt a child outside their species; Elves adopting a Satyr, Dwarves adopting an elf, etc.
