Tyrannox

Tyrannox is a Dinozaur Mystimon who lived in prehistoric times long before the First Age. It was a large bipedal creature with some bird like features, such as its legs being similar to that of birds today, and small arms. It was a carnivorous beast said to ravage the herbivores of the era. Its name means 'Tyrant King' in Almahnan. It has been labeled as extinct for years ever since its fossils were discovered in Dragule Valley in Southern Almahna. However now, new rumblings and rumours from Olympus seem to suggest the beast yet still lives. . .

Basic Information

Growth Rate & Stages

Originally it was thought that Tyrannox was a Stage 1 Mystimon. But now it has been discovered there was in fact a stage before it, called Tyrannochomp, a much smaller creature, making Tyrannox a Stage 2 Mystimon. It was discovered a number of years ago that it also does Evo further. This Stage 3 has been named Tyrannozar. It also has a Hyper Evo called Tyrannowrekz.

Ecology and Habitats

Tyrannox fossils have been found all over the world, but largely for the most part in Atlantea. However it is thought by many scholars that the desert regions in which fossils have been discovered were once tropical rainforests in the Dinozaur era millions of years ago.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Tyrannox was a carnivorous beast who preyed upon mostly the larger herbivorous Dinozaurs of the time.

Behaviour

Tyrannox was a highly aggressive Mystimon, and extremely territorial. Once it got the scent of something it would keep following that scent for several kilometers without giving up. Something certainly can be said for its persistence!

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Its eyesight was terrible, unable to see anything that didn't move. However it had amongst the best olfactory senses in the Dinozaur kingdom, able to smell for at least 2 kilometers.
