Spukranius
Thought by some fearful and ignorant people to steal children away in the night, the exact opposite is in fact true. Young children will often start talking about a friend that no one else can see but them. What some don't realize is that often that friend we thought was imaginary, was in fact a real Mystimon, known as Spukranius. But they are completely harmless and in fact are protectors for children everywhere. Often they will attach themselves to one single child or even siblings, and from then forth are inseparable from the child or children. They will then stop at nothing to protect these children they have attached themselves to from all threats - until such time as the children grow up and no longer need them. At this time the Spukranius will bid farewell and go in search of another child.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The wing-like appendages have now formed into a cloak over the creature, as it still maintains the arms and bright blue eyes and wide toothy grin from its previous forms. Such. A. Creepy. Grin. One can see why some people might be afraid of Spukranius.
Biological Traits
Invisibility Most often, it will show itself only to children, while remaining invisible to the adults in the room.
Ecology and Habitats
Spukranius' natural habitat, like its previous forms, is wherever we live, most often with children in the home.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Spukranius feeds on the emotional energy of laughter and joy and happiness, which it in turn reciprocates upon the child.
Behaviour
It will attach itself to a single child or siblings, and remain with them through out their life until they grow up. Through out the time it is with the child or children it will act as both a friend and a protector, but they will for the most part remain invisible to adults, while remaining visible to the children. When the children grow up, it will bid farewell and leave in search of another child.

Social Structure
Spukranius acts as a sort of 'imaginary' friend and protector to the children it attaches to. It will play with the child, interact with the child, and it is completely harmless and very protective of the child.
Domestication
Some parents are actually have for a Spukranius to attach to their children and will treat it as a member of the family.
Facial characteristics
It has the same big bright blue eyes and wide toothy grin of its previous forms. The same creepy grin.

They appear all over the world, wherever there are children.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Spukranius are empathic and sensitive to a child's needs and emotions.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
They share a very much symbiotic relationship with the children it attaches too, acting as a friend and interacting with them and playing with them, as well as acting as a protector.
Discovery
From the notes of Doctor Ivan Sanderson
"Greetings. I don't really know how to start this. My name is Doctor Jane Dawn. I have faithfully served as Doctor Sanderson's assistant for many years. The year now is 1386. Ivan is now is failing health, so I write to you now about my experience with a creature that I have come to call 'Spukranius', though I will credit Doctor Sanderson with the discovery for he was instrumental in me meeting the creature to begin with.
With that out of the way. I now have a young child, a son, about 6 years of age, almost 7, and I recently had begun to notice my son talking to and interacting with something that I couldn't see, that wasn't there from all I could tell. But that wasn't quite true. There was something there. I just simply could not see it. Now I know what you are thinking, and I know, it is entirely normal for a child to have an 'imaginary friend'. But I can't explain it. It almost felt like there was indeed something here, interacting with my son. I simply could not see it. Call it mother's intuition.
Around the time I started noticing this, I would have several instances of strange occurrences. I walk into my son's room, and his toy letter blocks are arranged in a way to spell a message, "Hello, Jane." Now certainly of course, my son could have arranged the letters himself, but would he call me by my name? Of course not. He would call me 'Mom' or 'Mommy' or 'Mother'.
In another case, I was playing with my son, and the head of one of his stuffed toys began to turn toward me.
And in yet another case, I come into the kitchen to find all of our chairs stacked one on the other. I know my son could not have done this. This sealed it for me, there was something here. But it seemed almost childlike and almost like it was trying to get my attention. But why could it be trying to get my attention?
Then I remembered the haunted house incident with Ivan many years prior, and the encounter with the Spuklar there and how it seemed to follow me home. For years I thought that it had moved on. But now I wondered if it in fact was still here, now attached to my son. So I decided to try and communicate with it.
"Hello?" I said. "Is that you, Spuklar? Are you here still?"
I didn't expect anything to happen. But then it did, as a black and dark purple cloaked shadowy creature suddenly appeared before me, looking at me with big bright blue eyes and grinning at me with its silly wide toothy grin. But it was now much larger than it was as a Spuklar. It must have Evo'ed in all of that time! Spukrone was already known about and documented in Ivan's Mystiary at this time. This must have been a whole new form never before seen.
But more than that, this creature appeared to want to let me know that it was not only here but that it would take care of my son. In fact it seemed highly protective of my son. I surmise therefore that this final form of Spukine is not here to harm children in anyway, but to protect them.
I smiled and nodded, and the creature vanished once again. But I know that it is still there. It is still here, looking over my son and being a friend to him. Sometimes, even if you can't see something, you just have to have faith that it is there. Seeing isn't always believing, but the opposite. Believing is seeing.
With Ivan's failing health, I shall take over now in his stead. It's what he would want. It's what he has trained me for my entire life."
