Mummila

As if Daemonds weren't bad enough. Unlike Daemonds, these creatures do walk on two legs, and they have gained incredible strength, strength that they can use to strangle their victims. They retain the red glowing eyes from Daemond, but now they are covered in some kind of layering that looks like wrappings of some kind. Their name comes from the fact that they look distinctly like the mummies of Ancient Almahnan times.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Mummila are bipedal creatures, humanoid-like in appearance, much like Daemonds. They are immensely strong, and surprisingly fast and agile.

Biological Traits

They do not seem to retain the Daemond Fever disease.

Colour

Darkness

Growth Rate & Stages

They Evo'ed from Daemond. They will eventually Evo into Devilon.

Ecology and Habitats

They are mostly found in tombs all over the world. For a long time it was thought they were related to Rizen, and were the risen undead. Now it is known they are in fact Mystimon, and the Evo'ed form of Daemond.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They consume flesh much like Daemonds. They seem to also favour the cranial part.

Behaviour

They are extremely aggressive creatures, though seem to be more solitary than Daemonds, as they do not appear to hunt in groups like Daemonds do anymore.

Additional Information

Social Structure

They are more solitary creatures and seem to not follow the group social structure of Daemonds. They have in fact been witnessed fighting with one another over prey.

Facial characteristics

What parts of their face isn't covered in bandages shows grey leathery skin, bright glowing red eyes, and and a jaw full of razor sharp teeth, though not quite as long as that of Daemonds.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

They seem to be mostly found in tombs all over the world.

Average Intelligence

They have a frightening level of intelligence, and certainly much smarter than Daemonds.

Discovery

From the notes of Doctor Ivan Sanderson.

"I could scarcely believe it if I didn't lay eyes upon them myself. We encountered these creatures in King's Valley, and I almost thought the mummies of the Fae'rohs had some how come to life themselves. But they in fact were still tucked safely away in their sarcophagi. These creatures were something else entirely. They share a few common characteristics of Daemonds. Perhaps they are somehow related to them? They have the glowing red eyes characteristic of Daemonds, as well as razor sharp teeth. But they seem no longer to have the claws, and instead they have been replaced with immense strength.

I would describe their strength as that of ten men. I witnessed one literally crush the neck of one of my research assistants. He was a good assistant as well. I am thankful I left Jane behind. I do not know what I would do with myself if anything were to happen to her.

These Mummila, that's a name I've come up with that seems quite fitting, seemed to be wrapped in some form of covering, like off-white wrappings of some kind. Almost like. . . bandages? They move with frightening speed and agility. I do not know if we will be able to escape with our lives."

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Their skin is grey and leathery, and they are wrapped in off-white wrappings or bandages, or something much like it.
