Magic scrolls
Spell Scroll Creation
Ritual Spell Creating a Magical Scroll isn't as difficult as one would believe. Someone with a magical predisposure can create such a scroll if they have the proper items. First one needs to aquire paper that will hold the magic without instantly destroying it. A heavy parchment made from papyrus is usually a good stating point. Now you cant use just any old ink to create a magical scroll the ink must be infused with a drop of magic. This magic then seeps into the parchment and is activated when the spell is read off. When creating a spell scroll there is a 50/50 chance that the spell will work. Roll a D20 with a DC of 10, if you fail the save the parchment burns up and is rendered useless. Each level spell you attempt to write takes an additional 20 minutes. (ex: 1st lvl- 10min, 2 lvl 20 min, 3 lvl 30 min) Roll D6 1-Wild Magic (the magic in the parchment is unstable creating a random effect) 2-The parchment disintigrates with no effects 3-6- The spell is completed with no complications When the spell has been cast the parchment burns up and is rendered useless.Purpose
