The venerable queen of the Eastern gate, sweet Silon.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Kate Silon is a strong woman not only thanks to the regime instilled to the members of Guardsmen, but thanks to the additional exercises she appoints to herself daily. Not to mention keeping a healthy diet with only the occasional sweet treat when she feels it has been earned.
Body Features
Beneath the layers of armor and uniform, you'll notice that Kate's structure is surprisingly slim despite her strength. She keeps her hair short or, at least, tied up behind her head in order to avoid any distractions or hindrance. All in all, the name sweet Silon befits such a beautiful woman.
Facial Features
Her face is a near perfect circle if it were not for her pointed chin. Her nose and mouth are smaller in proportion to her eyes making them look enormous at a glance. On the right side of her forehead, we can spot the where the roots of her hair begin as it splits above her right eye.
Identifying Characteristics
Should you meet Kate while strolling about, chances are you'll encounter her titular grin or smirk. According to her and her mother, Kate has had this little quirk since childhood.
Apparel & Accessories
As a member of the Guardsmen, it is no surprise to spot Kate in the usual Guardsmen attire; rounded helm, Steel breast plate, arm and leg guard. As for her weapon of choice, Kate is a master when it comes to the short sword and she is rarely seen without one at her belt.

Personal history
Never knowing who her father was, Kate has raised by her mother, Catrin Silon. For a time, they lived within the Southern district of Grandalheim castletown but moved to the Eastern district when Kate was around 5 years old. Surely her mother had her reasons, but whenever the subject would present itself, Kate's mother would simply deflect the question. Kate quickly learned to forget about this past and focus on what was to come instead.
Education
Kate begun her education after they had moved. Therefore, she attended Grandalheim castletown's Eastern school. Kate was considered a perfectly average student, excelling in some classes such as mathematics & linguistics while needing some additional assistance when it came to history. As a young adult, Kate was offered multiple chances to pursue an educational career, but dismissed everything in favor of joining the Guardsmen. A decision which was graciously supported by her mother.
Employment
Kate enrolled with the Guardsmen at the age of 16. The required training was arduous indeed, however, Kate was not one to quit and pushed herself harder than she'd ever had before. To her benefit, Kate always had been a bit a stubborn individual and liked preferred to work hard as opposed to her more feminine friends.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Kate was officially appointed a soldier of the Guardsmen before her 17th birthday. As a rookie, her jobs included menial tasks such as up-keeping the barracks and stables. (Where many a sexist jape was had by her peers, though this never bothered her as she was as quick to retort as she was skilled with a blade. This led to her earning the ironic title of sweet Silon.)
Once Kate was 18 years old, she had now moved on to the more remarkable roles commonly associated with members of the Guardsmen. During this time, she survey public streets, answered cries for help, etc.
Intellectual Characteristics
Kate Silon is a worthy opponent both physically and mentally. To nearly anyone who's ever met her for more than 5 minutes, it seems like a simple matter of time before she is permitted the position of commander.
Morality & Philosophy
Kate's beliefs lie with the teachings of the faith. Like most Humans, especially residents of Grandalheim, they share the belief that the overseer gods did, in fact, come to Terra's aid centuries ago.

Motivation
Being given control over her choices as a Guardsmen, Kate live quite contently in her day to day. Although if you ask me, I think she also enjoys having a certain power over others as well but you didn't hear it from me.
Likes & Dislikes
Nothing makes Kate happier than problem solving. Ranging from a trivial dispute to tactical decisions and everything in between, if Kate can manage to get involved, she will be.
As for food, nothing compares to a roast beef with a hearty side of legumes topped with a pint of ale. Meanwhile, acidic fruits have never been anywhere near her favorites.

Contacts & Relations
An important moment in her life happened during her 20th year. She was offered the opportunity to transfer to the Huntsmen's division as an escort to the newly appointed ambassador of foreign affairs; Aramis Dunnal. Not only did she meet a young Aramis, but this marked the time when she met commander Aaron Belfast as well. (At the time, Belfast was commander part of the Huntsmen division.)
From this moment onward, a strong and everlasting friendship would be born.
Family Ties
Kate's mother, Catrin Silon, was abandoned by her father once he had discovered Catrin to be pregnant. The two were close as they were the only family they had in the overwhelming city of Grandalheim.
Social Aptitude
Kate Silon is a very confident person. She's always parading about as if she's got absolutely everything under her control. She's no stranger to humor including personal jabs however, should you make some snarky remark, expect to have the favor returned twofold!
Speech
It is no secret that Kate's speech has a unique accent not commonly found in Grandalheim. Her mother shares the same speech pattern which implies that her family must have originated with the "Lost roots" like many others with similar accents.
Wealth & Financial state
Being a member of the Guardsmen, Kate earns a modest living. She can hardly be considered a materialistic person. With this in mind, not only does Kate live in the barracks and not in her own residence, she often will donate her funds to those she believes need it more than her.
