Kaemerak
The Apex predator of the South-East.
Basic Information
Anatomy
One could almost mistake this monster for an ancient animal. However, make no mistake, this abomination is just as vile and treacherous as any other.
The Kaemerak is a large quadruped covered in a unique layer of what could only be considered tentacles. The head is buried within a mane of these appendages. It has a pointed triangular snout and its jaw contains an array of sharp fangs four of which protrude beyond its mouth at all times. Its eyes are small with horizontally slanted pupils making it near impossible to identify its mood. Finally, its ears are found above its brow, pointing upwards.
The Keamerak's torso is long and heavy, its belly covered in fur while its back is covered in smaller tentacles. Its front paws are covered in these same tentacles five of which are particularly long. Meanwhile, the hind legs are devoid of any of these strange appendages and greatly resemble the legs of a common animal complete with claws.
Finally, to no one's surprise, the Keamerak's tail consists of a multitude of long slender tentacles.
Genetics and Reproduction
The Kaemerak is believed to be a mammal. That being said, studies of this species have yet to be performed.
Ecology and Habitats
The Kaemerak makes its home primarily in the Torovaur Region's forests. However, some have been spotted roaming the Sol mountain range as well as the scorched fields of the Waugmala Region.
Dietary Needs and Habits
This monster is a carnivore and hunts just about any living creature to earn its meal. This includes other monsters and even other Kaemeraks.
Additional Information
Average Intelligence
The Kaemerak could be compared to the wolf in terms of intelligence. Though it is a solitary creature, it demonstrates a frightful understanding of hunting tactics akin to the wolf.
Scientific Name
Landbound
Lifespan
Estimated to be around 10 years.
Average Height
1.2 m. to 1.6 m. (When calm)
Average Weight
around 120 kg.

2 m. to 2.2 m. (When calm)
Average Physique
When referring to a Kaemerak, most will often describe it in two ways; while it is calm/docile or when it is angered/raging.
When calm, the Kaemerak has all its tentacles sleeked towards its back in a singular array. From the mane around its head all the way to the tip of its tail, this gives the monster a sleek, even majestic look. However, when angered, its tentacles begin to writhe wildly in every direction. It is capable of controlling each and every one of its appendages individually like hundreds of whips. All of this also applies to its front paws.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
The Kaemerak's fur is usually a light brown mixed with the orange of the sun. The closest comparison would be the earth found around Mount Sol Somnum. Meanwhile, the tentacles are a mossy green with the tips darkening to a near black hue.
