Material Characteristics
The Basinil plant is comprised of a multitude of stems with a dozen cupped shaped leaves extending from each of its stems.
Physical & Chemical Properties
The Basinil gathers rain water within its cup shaped leaves. When the plant begins to weaken, its leaves will begin to bend under the weight of the water being held within its leaves. The water then trickles out, into the soil where the plant's roots will absorb the water, allowing it to continue to live.
Otherwise, it is a popular rest stop for people and animal alike since the rainwater is available to any passerby.
Compounds
The plant itself does not provide any nutritional value. Its utility lies solely in the unique shape of their leaves and their ability to cay water for long periods of time.
Origin & Source
These wonderful plants have been cultivated and an be found here and there across Terra, but they are originally from the Torovaur Region.
