Melusine, The Ocean Sovereign

Melusine looks exactly like Luciadh, the Moon Sovereign, save for one feature. Her mortal form tends to look like someone who has drowned or contracted hypothermia. She is regarded as more beautiful than mortal eyes deserve, yet an uforgiving mistress of the sea. As the primary victim of the Shattering, she very clearly does not trust mortals. Many have lost their life to her whims and wrath, including one civilization who flew too close to the sun. This civilization was directly responsible for and involved in the creation of the Crown that Thalia Derramorr (the last remainder of the Kythan Emporer's heirs and heir to the Kythan Dynasty) used to raise an army of the dead after the Crossing War, but before the Godslayer Calamity in a battle known as the Battle for Crossing. The city that Melusine drowned, she drowned because of the crowns power to possibly take the sovereignty of one of the Sovereigns. That rumor alone caused her to lose her temper and take the city into the ocean with her.

Many folk believe that the causes of typhoons and hurricanes is the fact the Melusine has rejected the courting offer of Tsindran, the Sky Sovereignonce again.
