Elfien

Elfien, also known as the originals or ursprünglich, are a diverse race of beings who consider themselves to be the true Children of the Gods. They proudly claim a heritage that predates many other races and have established their homelands known as Elfinlen, where their distinct cultures and ways of life flourish.

    • Vetter Elfien, Erewsh - Vetter Elfien are elves known for their adeptness in magic. Often residing in lofty and secluded towers, they hone their arcane skills and wisdom. In human cities, they hold esteemed positions as advisors and mages, lending their magical expertise to aid rulers and societies. Their role as counselors and guides grants them influence and respect among both humans and their fellow Elfien.

    • Neme - The Neme are Steppe Elfien who thrive in the vast plains and steppes. They share a profound bond with their magical mounts and live harmoniously alongside them. These Elfien often form mixed communities with Centaurs and Corkishmen, creating unique nomadic settlements that combine the diverse cultures and traditions of their respective races. The Neme are known for their equestrian skills, bowmanship, adaptability to open landscapes, and their ability to harness the magic of their surroundings.
    • Merihaltiat, Merihal - These Sea Elfien are followers of the God Thelune and his son Telesson, having a strong affinity to the peoples of Telephos. This is one of the few realms in which the Elfien have integrated into human society. However, their culture has stayed distinct from that of their short-lived allies. They can live in water or upon the land but they always live near water. Some live on the rivers of Telephos, serving as river traders or fishermen, but a majority live in and under the islands dotting the Mare'On.

    • Ljósalfar, Hvítálfar - The Ljósalfar and Hvítálfar are Elfien who dwell in lofty abodes on the highest peaks and in floating cities. They are drawn to these elevated locations, always seeking to be closest to the sun. Their communities are characterized by their affinity for light, radiance, and a deep connection to celestial energy. The Ljósalfar and Hvítálfar possess ethereal beauty, and their societies revolve around art, music, and the pursuit of enlightenment through the luminous forces that surround them.

    • Svartalfar, Dökkálfar - The Svartalfar and Dökkálfar are Elfien who have made their homes in the depths of caves, residing in subterranean realms that lie deep within the earth. Often found living in communities alongside the mysterious Bergsrået Tomte, they are skilled craftsmen and artisans who excel in metallurgy, stonework, and other subterranean arts. These Elfien possess a deep connection to the earth and its hidden treasures, harnessing the power of the underground for both practical and magical purposes.

    • Huldri - The Huldri are Elfien who have chosen the forested realms as their preferred dwelling places. They reside in treetop villages and enclaves, embracing the natural harmony of the woodlands. The Huldri hold a deep reverence for nature, and their lives are intertwined with the flora and fauna of their surroundings. They seek seclusion and distance from the human world whenever possible, valuing the serenity and tranquility of their forest domains.

    • Kiumbe, Kichawi - The Kiumbe are desert-dwelling Elfien who reside in tribal bands within the most remote corners of deserts and wastelands. Living in harsh and arid environments, they have developed unique survival skills and deep knowledge of desert ecosystems. Their tribal communities are tightly knit, relying on each other for sustenance and protection. The Kiumbe are attuned to the secrets of the desert and possess a spiritual connection to the ever-shifting sands.

  • Uzoq O'tmishdagi - The Uzoq, also referred to as the Hidden Elfien, form a secretive subgroup within the vast realm of Elfien. Their ancestral lands, known as Qorol'ilik, lie nestled in the remote northeast, surrounded by a formidable ring of jagged mountains that serve as a natural barrier, safeguarding their hidden enclaves from prying eyes and unwanted intruders.
  • These elusive Elfien are known for their unparalleled mastery of concealment and subterfuge. They have honed their skills to become the ultimate practitioners of stealth and espionage, making them virtually undetectable to those who lack the necessary insight. The Uzoq possess an intimate understanding of the art of invisibility, allowing them to move silently and unnoticed through their mountainous domain.
Within the Uzoq society, power lies in the hands of the enigmatic Night Lords. These enigmatic rulers possess an air of mystique, guiding their people with a blend of wisdom, cunning, and shadowy authority. They hold absolute control over the Uzoq territories, ensuring that their secrets remain shrouded and their presence remains concealed from the prying eyes of outsiders. The Night Lords are supported by a specialized faction known as the Muqaddas Qotillar, or the Holy Assassins. These highly trained operatives serve as the Night Lords' trusted agents, wielding their skills as lethal weapons in the dark. They are masters of the clandestine arts, proficient in the use of poisons, covert combat techniques, and infiltration strategies.
The Muqaddas Qotillar strike swiftly and decisively, eliminating threats to Uzoq's secrecy and further bolstering the influence of the Night Lords. The Uzoq, under the rule of their Night Lords and protected by the formidable Muqaddas Qotillar, guard their hidden enclaves with unwavering dedication. Their ultimate goal is to preserve their secrecy and protect the ancient knowledge and traditions passed down through generations. They maintain an aura of mystery and seclusion, rarely venturing beyond the confines of their mountainous realm, and interacting with the outside world only when absolutely necessary. Their mastery of stealth, combined with the leadership of the Night Lords and the lethal skills of the Muqaddas Qotillar, solidifies the Uzoq's reputation as a formidable and elusive subgroup within the diverse tapestry of Elfien. Their hidden presence and enigmatic nature ensure that the lands of Qorol'ilik remain a domain veiled in secrecy, forever guarding the secrets and traditions of the Hidden Elfien.

Each kind of Elfien exhibits distinct cultural practices, abilities, and environments, reflecting their deep-rooted connection to their respective domains and their ancient origins as the original Children of the Gods.
