The children of the earth. The orators of its ancient mysteries. The dwarves are a kinfolk known for their deep connection to the fallen civilizations that dot the world, the once-great empires that have been swallowed by the earth. For some, they carry these stories on in craftsmanship, attempting to capture the once great heights of their fallen ancestors.

The dwarves are known for their unparalleled craftsmanship and consolidation of riches and artifacts. Each sub-race and clan has its owns specialty, often tied to their history and particular deities. Each dwarf is shaped by their own cultural identities. For some, it's the pursuit of maintaining and memorializing their ancient legacy. For others, they are driven to revive their ancient empires and ascend back to their place of superiority. The Red Dwarves, also called the Scavenger Dwarves, are an clan that originates from the southern Esome region of the Dragonwilds. Intimately connected to the ancient Dragons and other beasts of the region, the Red Dwarves get their moniker from their practice of refashioning natural materials. Their capital city, Drujek, is emblematic of their culture, built into the stomach of a fossilzed corpse of the dragon Asyrathax.Frostworn
Native to the Hammerwind Mountains, the Frostworn Dwarves are an ancient tribe, prideful and powerful. They are known for their warrior culture, having triumphed in a brutal region full of harsh weather, adversarial kingdoms and powerful creatures. Their pantheon, the Deldrum, are carved into into the mountain tops as great guardians. Their central god is Baethrune, a powerful warrior god. The Frostworn have a strict initiation process to become a Raeic, the adorned warrior class of their culture.Karthras
United by a spirit of rebellion, the Karthas administer two of the great Free Cities, Ironhold and Chaim-Valk. The Karthras are well known for their Symposiums, great institues where the boundries of magic and technology are pushed. They are known for their curiosity and ingenuity, as well as talents for building magically influenced weapons, trinkets, and tools.Urvashi
Sometimes called the Blackpowder Dwarves, the Urvash are native to the Urvall Penninsula. From their capital of Broken Ember. The Urvashi have friends amongst all races, being responsible for the largest creation and export firearms and blackpowder weapons. While driven by a desire to please their God Enath and his Flamefall Ceremony, but they also are deeply desiring of wealth and furthering their influence.
