Lord Castellan Vanion Helbrecht, High Marshal of the Knights of Helm (a.k.a. One Eye)

Lord Castellan Sir Helbrecht is the head of the Order of the Stag. He is a calculating individual, and has been in command of the Order and it's knights for over a score of years. To his soldiers and allies he is kind, yet relatively humourless and serious. To his enemies he is ruthless and shows no pity or mercy, such is evident in his tactics and the resolution of his battles which often result in total destruction of the armies opposing the Knights of the Vigilant Stag.

Likes:

Constructing fortifications - the joy of a well constructed palisade knows no bounds.
Drawing up battle plans - as a master strategist, he is able to read a field and predict the outcome and reactions to his own forces actions before the battle has even started.
Taking the field in combat - a luxury rarely afforded to him due to his rank.

Dislikes:

The Undead - much like his God, Helm, he sees them as an abhorrent pox on the land. One that must be wiped out at all cost
Poor tacticians- nothing raises his ire more than a general who does not value the lives of his men, nor know his enemy.

Seen as severe and entirely humourless, this isn't quite the case - he is merely practical and known for being very literal, just like the god he worships. Yet he does find humour in certain things, specifically observational comedy - pointing out what is wrong with the world and why it is amusing. Despite this, he is a very charismatic individual, able to lead his army with ease and little complaint from the ranks. Further to this, he is easy to talk to about issues plaguing the common soldiery, and makes himself avaliable twice a fortnight to listen to complaints and disputes within his Knights, more often than not solving them with ease - a benefit to being so literal and taking things at face value.

Speaks in a High-Ecriovian accent (analagous to Recieved Pronounciation), in a rough tone - made gravelly from years of bellowing orders on the battlefield. An insult from Vanion is like a sandpaper slap.
