Justice
At first glance, the blade appears to be extremely rusted - just an ordinary, old and uncared for greatsword. Upon closer inspection however, the dark brown stains are actually long dried blood. Aside from this, the blade seems to be plain, aside from a scraped and unrecogniseable holy symbol. Down the blade, mostly obscured by blood and a lack of care is a phrase inscribed in a language known to few. Those able to decipher the wording would recognise it as being Old Ecrovian for "When I raise this sword, so I wish that this poor sinner will receive eternal life."
A local rumour has it that this weapon was wielded by a long dead paladin many years ago. It acted as his executioner's blade, killing heretics and evildoers. Over years however the paladin became increasingly paranoid and deluded, seeing a great evil in his homeland of Lequopia. He found a warlock living in the now ruined village of Drepstan and slew not just the warlock but every man, woman and child in the village as he believed them to be aiding the sinner. That night, so the story goes, the man awoke to his sword being driven through his chest (No easy feat, considering the blade isn't actually pointed) and into the ground by his own soldiers, so wracked with guilt at their own involvement with his atrocities.
