Bane
(a.k.a. The Black Lord)
Bane is the god of tyrannical oppression, hate and terror, known as the face of pure evil and malevolence. He is an entity of pure, unbridled hatred and rage who distances himself from mere mortals, reigning over his followers from afar. He savours the terror he sows within the hearts of mortals, using this fear to grow stronger and more powerful, allowing him more control over the Northern Realms. When confronted with potential battle, he will possess one of his followers, forcing their body to take on a horrendous monstorous form akin to a demon. This transformation is incredibly painful and many hosts will not survive the transformation back to what they were before. If no followers are around he is known to fight using only his gauntleted hand - The Black Hand of Bane. However, if faced by multiple enemies he wields a greatsword in one hand, grappling with his gauntleted right hand and slashing and thrusting with the unholy blade.
Bane helieves himself the rightful ruler of all planes, and will not tolerate subservience to anyone. However he is willing to work alongside other gods if it serves his own interests. In the past he has formed several alliances with similarly aligned gods.
