In the aftermath that followed the Kaiser Wars, after the Immortal Houses restored a semblance of balance. The rise of Deathunter Corps. was on the cusp of the War for the Wasteland. Just north of the outskirts of Myd'raal, in the area known as The Badlands... being so far away from any other established settlement after the calamities' that befell the world... one of the few refuges of mankind and some example of society. The Vampires began to take on followers as did Lycan's and several other species as all were on even footing since the calamities' of post-Kaiser occupation.
The Agarthan Magi keep many secrets that few have tasted through adventures into the misty isles, where fog seems to be filled with a milky color, making visibility near impossible... unless they have a Magi of their own familiar with such ancient magicks.
Inside a labyrinth of corridors that opened up into rooms filled with objects inside an in-cased area. At the end of each corridor there were doors that could not be opened with mere strength of body, not even the Astral Body could penetrate them. There was a word for opening doors that sounded like something out of a videogame. Yet it was not of this world since there is no description that can fit its characteristics.

The substance was called Quicksilver. It overtook 95% of the world and spread rapidly, depending on which person you ask. Some would say this was a blessing for humanity, others would call it a curse, and naysayers would call it the apocalypse. Places where a lot of people come and go. Lycan's and Were have formed tighter bonds with each other, working together. They control most of the porting of goods and such by the docks and also have taken over the part of the city near the large woods. Demons basically being kicked to the trashier part of the city. Taking over the ghettos and slums.
Every rainy season on the Agartha Archipelago, there is such a deluge of monsoon waters that the great Maelstrom to the deep seas to the south is coaxed in amongst the Agarthan Islands, making travel between the islands nearly impossible, let alone safe enough out in flood waters. The Maelstrom takes two months to pass through the Archipelago, mainly focusing its power on the Agarthan Straight. Some minor whirlpools can be found amongst most of the coastlines in the Rainy season. Yet this only adds to the dangers and mysteries of the Agarthan Empire of Island-States.
