Krethra- the end of the natural year

Krethra is seen as the end of the natural year, a celebration of the 3 gods mercy that allowed for a good harvest.   The name is a combination of the gods names Krelulla, Goddess of Soil, Thusdum, God of rain and Rasnir, God of sun. When put in this order it means " The Soil happly acceptet the rain&sun." If there was a drought the festivities are canceled and the day is known as Rakre meaning " The sun over powered the rain and burned the soil." If there was a cloudburst year the festivities are canceled and the day is known as Thkre meaning " The rain over powered the sun and flooded the soil."   Regardless of the year that past the main ceremony remains. Led by the Keepers of Balance, incenses are lit in a prayer of a good balanced year where the corps will grow in the correct time and the land will prosper.

Festivities

The celebrations start 4 days before the end of year.   The first 2 days the celebrations are more in the close circle. People invite their families over serving homemade food, holiday related drinks and bonding with friends.   The 3rd day is centered around local areas, there are competition to see who can create the most magic enhancing food or drink.   The 4th day is spiritual, filled with gratitude to the gods and hope for another good year. The main festivities happen in Preasuqira Sheij, the capital where the sounds of a grand parade fills the city. In the center of the parade is a statue of the three gods suronded by the Laumir , living embodiments of the conactions between the gods (rainbow, trees ,flowers to name a few).   The parade goes from the Kings palace where a gratitude ceremoney takes place, through the main streets filled with on lookers finally reaching Preasuqira Lusdsn, the gods house where the main ceremoney takes place.   In other cities smaller versions happen in their Lusdsrs without the Laumir presence.
