Lizarsite stones

In Lublichalcite magic flows throughout the land, which is on the back of Alloge the stones grow from his back. Each of the 12 parts of his body which make up the 12 land has a unique magical stone that grants the holder further power; each of the stones gives a different power. The stones must be in direct contact with the body in order for their magic to transfer onto the user. Most Luard can only connect with some of the stones; there are a few rare exceptions. The Luard are split into sub groups based on their Lui.  

History

The fashion of wearing the stones came during the Attack of Poisoned Minds led by King Finnian Silverclaw in the year 916. The attackers and defenders needed the stones constantly touching their skin but neckless and bracelets which were the norm at the time could be snatched. A Formless who is a Luard with a Metamorphosis circle as his main stone figured out he could get the stones to remain on his body by inserting them into his skin.   The others saw it and with the help of a Healic copied him, creating a force to be feared. Due to the combined efforts the stones could not be removed.   After the attack when King Finnian Silverclaw was defeated and the position of Crislcite was created the stones became even more of a statue symbol.  

Changes

The coming of age ceremony was changed to acomadate the new fashion. The stones are now put directly into the forehead and upper body using the individual's magic with the guidence of a Healic.   The fashion also changed to acomadate the stones, lowered necks and exposed shoulders became the norm after the coming of age ceremony.
