Bruccen of Etolla, a hero of no particular bloodline, steps up and defeats the mad emperor. It’s quite epic and heroic, and therefore a darling of bardic tales.   He goes down in history as “Bruce the Bold”   Contemporary rumors claim Prince Darien had a hand in it, but disappeared shortly afterward.
