Primas the Great
King Primas (a.k.a. Primas the Great)
Primas "The Great" Prismodian was the founder and first king of what would become the Triamic Empire.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Primas was tall and broad, cutting an imposing figure.
Special abilities
Each of the Great Houses claim he is one of theirs, and will give accounts of him using their magic, "proving" this to be so. However, none of these accounts are substantiated outside their individual House.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Primas' precise background is disputed. Official records state that he was born in the Sheyla Kingdom. He was known to be well-traveled.
Legend says that he had returned from a sojourn of study at the University of Obsidian inspired to build a utopia by tales of ancient empires. Thus, he rallied a circle of allies to overtake the throne of the Sheyla Kingdom, compelling the current monarch to surrender through diplomacy backed by military might.
Primas was crowned in what is now Year 0 of the Emperor's Calendar.

Accomplishments & Achievements
Primas founded the Heartland Kingdom and set the groundwork for the mighty Triamic Empire that dominates Estana today. In the process of doing so, he built the Triamic Council, creating the House structure that allowed the three great political powers of the continent to work together toward a singular end--specifically, his singular end of creating a great nation under one united banner.
Failures & Embarrassments
It was an open secret in Primas' court that he had an illegitimate daughter. While studying in the Vale prior to his conquest, he'd had a tryst with a Valean sorceress. The resulting daughter was swept under the rug by the majority of the Triamic Council, and Primas was not known to be in contact with either the mother or the child.
Intellectual Characteristics
One of Primas' most indisputable traits was his intelligence. He was both a well-learned scholar and a cunning tactician. Even more than that, however, Primas was a visionary. He saw potential in the culturally mixed region of the Riverlands and used that to create the first foothold of what would become a sprawling Empire.
Morality & Philosophy
Historical accounts record Primas as a just, but fair, warrior king. He followed the Mikellian codes when it came to his conquests, treating his troops with compassion and his opponents with respect. He was firm with his subjects, but not unapproachable. His gaze was firmly forward, always looking to the next leap forward he could bring his people. Strong and unwavering in his resolve, his will was indisputable, and it was only his unflinching dedication to his visions that allowed him to keep the disparate cultures of the Sheyla, Mekulets, and Voldrs working together with him.
Years went by and though he tried
Primas did not die in war
He died in a bed, wrinkled and dried
And Aphes stepped to the fore

Religious Views
Primas was a practicing Kaelic, and had excellent relations with Lumina as a result. On the seventh year of his reign, he accepted a Blessed Maiden, Celia, as his queen.
Controversy
After Primas' death, there was a movement within Heartland to declare Primas a saint of the Kaelic Temple. This movement was not approved by the Temple, and is commonly considered to be one of the contributing factors to the Lumina War.
