Marali
"Do not underestimate a man who can take down a tyrannosaur without a gun."
The Marali nomads inhabit the deserts of equatorial Pele.
Culture
If you spend any time with the Marali nomads, don't expect any privacy... it's not really a concept in their culture. Their homesteads do not have doors, and their villages are small enough that they can hear everything you get up to at night. Yes, everything. And they will gossip about it in the morning, oh yes.
For this reason, when a Marali comes to settled areas for trade, they will seem barbaric to most settled people. There is no Marali word for "modesty." They view most cultural norms dealing with privacy and modesty as strange rituals on the parts of the settled, and will often have difficulty matching such customs as they rarely understand it. If you see a shirtless woman walking through a Pele town, you can assume she's a Marali come to trade, and your options are to try to correct her (though chances are slim she'll understand your language) or simply avert your eyes.
For this reason, the Marali have learned to avoid certain culturally conservative cities, where a slip-up can lead to having rocks thrown at you or worse.
