Zantoyan (Z-a-nn-t-oy-eh-n)
The Zantoyan were the first peoples to exist on Iyones who were not deities themselves. The first Birdonis was Zanto, also known as "The holy one." The Zantoyan are a race of Birdlike peoples who all have the ability to fly, they are 2 types of Zantoyan, the Iyoted and the Deched, The Iyoted are the original, they are characterized by their bright colored feathers and their ability to fly. The Deched Zantoyan are characterized by their dark colors and inability to fly. Deched Birdonis are not allowed in the Holy city, they were cursed by the Goddess Iyones after Zanto rebelled against her, Zanto, though cursed is still considered an Iyoted Zantoyan.
The Zantoyan are the creators of the Murzimian Language as well as being the first creatures to live Peoples on Murzim.
Murzimian or "Murzimed" is a very consonant heavy language and thus sounds harsh. Each Peoples have their own Dialect of Murzimian. There are 2 languages on Murzim: Iyoted Murzimed and Deched Murzimed, both follow very similar grammar rules as the Zantoyan brought over Iyoted Murzimed during their attempted invasion of Dechas.
Most Zantoyan are Monks and follow directly the teachings of Zanto. Zanto is the most influential person on Iyones and thus has developed an almost God-like status. Zanto is the father of all peoples on Iyones. Zanto had 5 children: Hum, Hamf, Hash, Rah, Sayf. His 6th Child, Kok, was banished from The Holy City. The Ka Grufikhi teaches us that Saint Kok was sent to "The Great Hall" where her soul was split in two, one remaining Saint Kok and the other becoming the spirit of death, Queen Pilo, mother to the fabled ender of worlds Tadmir Al Thaban
