Manticore

The manticore is a proud hunting beast found at the top of the food chain. Manticores are a rare sight in the Westfork, though they are much more common in the Korcari Wilds. Nevertheless, professional monster hunters are often hired to bring down the beasts as they are always hungry. Their trophies are highly sought after, among which their hides, tail (especially when still infused with poison), claws and head (as it bears some dragonscales). Among the manticores there are rumored to be far larger more agile specimen known as the Royal Manticores.
