Clavicus Vile
Known by many names such as Clavico, Clavaca, Vilar, the Dealmaker, Master of Insidious Wishes, the Lord of Bargains and the Vile incarnate, Clavicus is an ancient agent of Boethiah who loves to enter into contracts with mortals to further his mistress's plots. In order to execute these plots and trickery efficiently, Vile does not reside in his Lady's plane of Oblivion but rather operates from the House of Regret; a castle-like mansion found afloat dark-brown rocks above a see of lava in the Void.
Clavico rarely appears in his true form to mortals but instead appears as that what they desire though generally preferring more noble/regal clothing. Clavico strongly believes in a mortal's agency and has rarely forced any mortal's action. Instead he persuades mortals to do his bidding by offering that they desire most, often appearing before them vividly. One of Clavico's most recent contracts was sealed with Barzu Golddew in 1470.
