Mundania is a land that is both ancient and advanced. Mundania sits in the center of several material plains that collide in curtains. Curtains are like tectonic plates that collide, bringing alternate plains into material existence.
Long ago, a forgotten war was fought across these curtains, ripping Mundania apart. What is left has been built into Pharaoh a capital like no other. The most advanced tech from across the curtains and the most profound magic collected in Pharaoh, establishing a byway between the lands.
Pharaoh closed the curtains for good, but Baron's in Pharaoh is permitted to create boreholes in the various curtains for peace and trade. This has been the way for so many generations that most lore about wars of the past have been forgotten.
However, forgotten pasts are doomed to be repeated...
A world that serves other worlds. Is trade possible without treachery? Will the center of the universe collapse in on itself? Continue this path, and you may see the center of a blackhole you create, or a utopia indebted but never knowing what you will sacrifice for peace.
