Spells prepared from this book use Charisma to determine spell casting ability.   Spells with the ritual tag prepared in this book can be cast as rituals.   If you come across a written spell with a casting time of at least 10 minutes, or has the ritual tag, that spell can be copied into this book.   The process to copy a spell into A Book of Dragon Power involves the user consuming treasure valued at 75 gold per spell level and provide 25 gp in magical inks per spell level.
