The Cave

This cave lies in the northern portion of the Silver Forest's deep territory found only a few miles from the heart of the forest. While there are many caves found in the surrounding area this one cave is considered taboo for several reasons among the packs. The most prominent reason for the taboo is that it is believed to be the last home of a species of parasitic creatures known for inhabiting the soul. If one were to approach the cave they would see signs of the danger that lay in the cave ahead. Posted in the center of the entrance to the cave is a five-foot-tall stone signpost the stone sign upon it is written in a language few alive still speak, the carvings worn with time. Scrawled in a dark ink over the carvings is DO NOT ENTER IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SOUL YOUR OWN.   While the entrance to the cave isn't small the ceiling rapidly slopes towards the floor after only about 10 feet into the cave, leaving only a narrow tunnel one must crawl through as the way forward. The narrow tunnel extends for several feet before it starts to widen again. After nearly a dozen more feet one can fully stand up comfortably with the ceiling rising to its full nine-foot height. Though no sunlight reaches this deep into the cave it's still dimly lit by an unnatural glow seeming to come from the air itself.   On the wall to to the left about midway up the wall is an etching of two wolves, but there not like the wolves of today. Unlike the modern techno-organic wolves that are found today these wolves appear to be entirely organic. It's said that these two wolves represent the last alphas of the Phoenixs Rising pack. The larger of the two etchings said to be the male was once painted to look Silver, while the smaller was painted to be a light tan. Both of the wolves eyes were painted an amber yellow that seems to glow in the unnatural lighting of the cave. below the two large organic wolves are six pups each appearing to have small bits of technology on their body.   Thouse six pups are known as the founders of the six packs that came after the fall of the Phoenixs Rising pack. The largest of the six pups is painted black with bits of technology around his face, he was the founder of the Silver Forge pack. On his left is a slightly smaller pup painted a deep bronze color, he was the founder of the Tempered Bronze pack. Continuing o the left is the second smallest puo of the litter a female painted a redish grey blue, she was the founder of the Molton Rivers pack, beside her is a slightly larger female painted white, she was the leader the of the Smoldering steel pack. The Last two pups are both painted a light grey the first of the two seems to have the most bits of tech on their body and he was the founder of the the Welded iron pack
