The Argòxn Empire
The largest and arguably most powerful nation in Mortagan Skal, the Argòxn Empire's territory expands past the Norlands, and into the wider world.
Culture
Despite the technological advancements of the empire, a lot of Argòx's culture has remained true to their tribal roots. Ancient rituals still take place in even the biggest of cities.
History
Long before the empire, the people of what is now known as Argòx lived in tribes spread throughout the land. These tribes were often at war with each other. However, when forces from west of the mountains invaded, threatening their way of life, these tribes eventually united to push out the invaders, and so began Argòx.
The title of Scol Leader has traded hands many times since the foundation of Argòx, often forcefully through assassination.
Demography and Population
Thanks to the perpetual expansion of the empire, Argòx is a diverse nation of many different ethnicities and species.
Notably, Argòx is home to the second largest number of dragons and dragon-touched individuals, beaten only by draconic territory itself.
Territories
The territory of the Argòxn Empire is vast. Most of their land is in the northern continent of Mortagan, but small parts of [southern continent] and [eastern continent] are also under their control.
Military
The military of the Argòxn Empire is the largest military in the world. With hundreds of thousands of soldiers under their command, as well as a vast arsenal of battleships and gunpowder weapons, they are a terrifying foe for any nation that may find itself facing them.
Technological Level
Argòx is one of the more technologically advanced nations of Mortagan Skal. Most of their advancements are owed to their military, one of which being gunpowder weapons.
Religion
The main faith of Argòx is the ancient religion of the Argòxn tribes, known as Gót’hothec. Despite it's age, the religion still has a strong hold over modern Argòxn culture.
Foreign Relations
Argòx's foreign relations tend to be insecure at best. Knowing their desire for growth and expansion, even nations that actively trade with the empire are cautious to ally with them, lest they let their guard down and find their nation conquered.
