Barnaby "Splinters" Oak
Description
Barnaby is a mountain of a man. Even sitting down, he looms over passersby. He has a thick beard full of sawdust and arms the size of beer kegs. He wears a heavy leather apron filled with chisels and knives. He is rarely seen without a block of ironwood in one hand and a terrifyingly sharp carving knife in the other. He carves delicate, beautiful figures (birds, fish, totems) with hands that look like they could crush stone
Personality & Mannerisms
Barnaby is a man of few words, perhaps ten a day. He prefers to let his presence do the talking. He is the physical enforcement of the Porch Watch. If Silas barks, Barnaby bites. Despite his intimidating size, he has a soft spot for stray animals and often has a stray cat or dog sleeping near his boots.
