The war between the many creatures of the Wheel begins
At the end of the year of 1376AO, the balance of the world is at stake, the country of Winhall is split in two, the Boron Empire is shattered, Aselia on fire, Spirecrag is sinking, and other bizarre rumors are spreading across the lands. The world of Moria finds itself in a dangerous position as the “Astral Wars” as would later be termed begins, a war period when the Demons, Fiends, Daemons, Fey, Celestials, Elementals, Dragons and other creatures of the wheel began to wage their various wars using the Material plane as their battlefield. The Fiends arrive in Winhall, using the corruptive nature of humans to create large rifts and portals, their invasion devastating the lands and ripping the Empire of Winhall in two, leaving the nobles of man split between the west and the east fighting on two fronts. The Demons, under the banner of the White Flame and using the White Flames many years of corruption rip apart the Boron Empire leaving the entire eastern continent in chaos as the many cities, dependent on the Empire, find themselves now independent and fighting an unknown enemy. The Fire Elementals seemingly begin to invade Aselia and cause a heat wave like the country has never seen, turning the oasis villages on the brink of destruction. The Dragons of the Ignan Mountains ready themselves for another war as the nation of Medamia bickers politics leaving the nation in a vulnerable position. To only make matters worse a number of rumors are spread amongst the mercantile trade routes. A “Red Sea” that travels near the Deep Sea consuming entire fleets and only leaving behind the wreckage of ships, the few survivors speak of horrid dreams, vile visions, and their ships being torn apart by tentacles larger than a warship's mast. The Dwarves of Spirecrag are in a state of chaos, their underground cities seemingly disappearing overnight as tunnels collapse, horrible monsters are beginning to show themselves, and without the trade of the Boron Empire are in a financial crisis. The Fey seems to be expanding also, it’s forest now reclaiming areas of land once settled, winter storms freezing entire villages, and many people going missing never to be seen again, the Druids of the land warn of a conflict between the courts, the Summer and Winter courts bickering on what to do and pulling others into the fray. While all seems lost there is always a glimpse of hope for the world as a number of gods and individuals pull themselves into the fray to help. A new deity makes themselves known to the world, Lost, spreading their knowledge with the hopes of preserving books, knowledge, and the memories of the past, they spread their clerics around the world. The merchants of the world, suffering from the many collapses pray out and someone replies, a deity by the name of the Merchant Queen, guiding the merchants, helping in their trades, and keeping the world economy from collapsing. A number of warriors begin spreading themselves across the world, claiming to be from the Aether, these masterful warriors teaching the many aspiring adventurers and warriors preparing them for the future ahead. For the next years to come Moria will be tested, many of these regions changing forever, but like with the eras of before a number of individuals will shape the world becoming legends and succeeding in their goals, or falling just short and becoming another gravestone along the long road. Only time will tell of the events to unfold.
