Agriculture & Industry
Fincaster is a province with a mix of coastal and inland areas, so its economy and agriculture are diverse. On the southern coast, fishing and small-scale agriculture are the main sources of livelihood, while the rocky northern coast is mainly forested and provides timber for shipbuilding and construction. In the central plains, there is fertile land suitable for large-scale agriculture, such as wheat and barley farming. The many castles and keeps along the western border of the province also provide opportunities for local craftsmen to make and repair weapons, armor, and other goods needed by the local lords and the military.
In addition to agriculture and crafts, Fincaster has a thriving trade industry, as it is located at the crossroads of both the northern and southern coasts, as well as the western border. This makes it a hub for goods and information being exchanged between the various regions of the empire and the kingdom beyond.
