Minerva Corpening
Born around Bridgewater in 1886 to Theodore and Esmerlda (née Gallatin) Corpening. Growing up on her family's plantation she had an eye for fashion.
In 1905 she moved to Morgansborough and found a position as a seamstress at Lazarus Clothing. By 1907 she had become a designer with the firm.
In the Autumn of 1907 she met Emilia 'Mia' Ratavoloira who would often shop and aid the designer's of the fashion house with her European influences. The two became companions and would take Mia's car out for drives and outings around the county.
The Summer of 1908 Minerva witnessed an incident at Hotel Breckinridge after their car narrowly collided with the city officer Gick Rimes on his bicycle. The officer was high on opium and pursued the vehicle causing a scene in the hotel lobby that Mia had to ease.
That was the last evening Minerva and Mia associated, just over a week later Mia disappeared. Minevera was one of those who spent time looking for her friend.
Nothing is known of her as of 1915, except she presumably still holds her position at Lazarus.
