Lycan Folk (European)

The European Lycan tribes arrived to Morgansborough at different times throughout the colonization of the Americas, but have condensed their authority in the territory within a unifying and powerful familial structure. They are led by Donald Connelly, who earned his nickname, "The Cunning", by being one of the most vicious, vile, dastardly, and backstabbing shit biscuit there is. The particular fellowship of families located in Burke county, North Carolina, trace their Lycan heritage to the pagan Norse of Norway, Scandinavia, and the pillaged British Isles. They follow the "Old Code" (as it applies to them, naturally) and hold their heritage as sacred.   The Lycan Folk of European decent have their interests in manufacturing with a particular vestment in their lumberyards early on in the 1800's. Deforestation and the removal of native peoples have been a particular and nasty hallmark of this fellowship of families.   The European Lycans are as cunning as their leader; artful in their manipulation of local laws regarding ownership of land, private property, and the treatment of First Nations people, they procure what they want at any cost. They are backed by ancient wealth tracing back to the pillages of their Norse forefathers. The European Lycans have agents everywhere; local law enforcement, judges, local government, senators, congressman ... Donald Connelly has been known to boast about his familial connections in the White House as well.   They have an insatiable desire to increase their territory at any cost. "Security through power & control" is an old motto of theirs.   They can be of great value in a sketchy situation, as they are willing to fight along others so long as it furthers their own goals. The European Lycans, however, have a great distaste for their native relatives. The Cherokee people (native Lycan tribe) are a threat; they continue to try and eradicate their presence in Western North Carolina.   Be cautious of European Lycans. If they catch the scent of blood in the air, they will not hesitate to hunt you down ... even if you present as an ally. After all, anyone who isn't a part of the fellowship of families will become an enemy ... eventually.
