Souls Campaign Session 10

Session 10: 10-10-2025

The party starts at the Slanty Tower where they discuss what to do next. They decide to confront Bavlorna and try to turn her against the other hags.

Sir Tavalar, Duke of the Golden Waters, comes in and announces his expedition to the north to the hag! He promptly rushes off to the east to fly off in the wrong direction.

They start their trek through the swamps lands and find some curious glowing snails. Ghost picks up 4 of them and inspects them for use as magical ink. Ozzy finds some mushrooms with hallucinogenic properties and pockets them. Chiki starts designing a terrarium and mushroom farm to be placed in the expanded space of his pocket dimension.

During the travel up north they notice a strange creature in the swamp. It looks like a scarecrow with the skull of a reindeer with large antlers. Ozzy comes closer and it starts talking to him. Freaked out he immediately runs away and yells for the others to get away!   Ghost gets closer and talks to it learning he's a bound spirit of a child to this scarecrow looking for his original head. Granny Nightshade (Skabatha) has captured this spirit and bound it to this creature. He tells them a 'mean bunny' has stolen his head on the maze of wooden walkways up ahead. Ozzy suspects this is a Haregon, a rabbit like Fey creature. They also learn Skabatha dropped him off to find more children in this realm and possibly Bavlorna doesn't know about it.

They bring him along and move up to the entrance of the wooden walkways. A twisted construction of walkways that rise up and down and go through loops. Mr Hoot scouts ahead by flying up and sees a group of Haregons jump from platform to platform covering large distances. One in particular has a long blue shiny scarf that trails behind him as he runs and jumps from the platforms.

They walk closer to the entrance of the walkway and suddenly vines shoot out from two large creatures made from plants and vines. The creatures try to engulf them into their large bodies and electrocute them with their strangely charged bodies. When it gets hit by lightning it seems to heal and move faster than normal. Eventually they wear destroy the creatures.
