Frontier Session 30

Session 30: 22-09-2025

The party begins during a short break in the plantation planning their next move. A stranger, an ambassador from Ewhua'tahn, the Green Islands in the western part of Elastar. Being led through the forest road to the plantation of the group of heroes that helped liberate this land from the Empire.

He arrives at the compound with a messenger from Lavender and gets lead into the main manor house where he finds the party in middle of dinner. He introduces himself as Myrodion Kynias, a Wood Elf. After introduction he left to his administrative post.

The next morning they set out to collect supplies and equipment in the town. Then started flying towards the Crystal Palace, the ancient structure from the information gathered in the temple of Zehir. Flying towards to the south across the barren wasteland, Suicu and Hiron see a strange white forest approaching. When they get closer Suicu uses his new spyglass to look at the forest seeing that the trees are petrified lifeless husks without leaves with grass on the ground. Landing in front of the forest they check out the trees and it doesn't seem dangerous. They follow a circular pattern suddenly cutting off at the edge of the wasteland. The grass feels dry and lifeless.

They continue on to the palace and see high white marble walls and its high towers made of glass. There is a high central structure with 4 large towers and massive hall. A smaller open structure of 4 segments surrounding a tower stands to the left with a walkway leading into the central structure. Another structure stands to the right with two large towers surrounding a large structure.

They land the ship and Suicu takes flight with Jock and fly around the structure seeing furniture inside including some crystal globes set in the wall that emit magical light. There seems to be no dust or dirt inside. He flies up and suddenly a translucent dragon appears in the sky and flies through him disappearing behind him flying through an invisible shimmering wall.

Going inside the open structure they find a somewhat worn structure with some fallen in bits. A brass and copper door with intricate engravings is set in the central tower. Hiron starts forcing the lock but the eyes on a face of a person engraved on the door light up with crackling blue lightning. Shocking him with a bolt of lightning knocking him back.

Suicu uses his tools to pick the lock on the door and it swings inwards. They go upstairs and find a room with high glass windows looking out over the compound and into the next building. Suicu uses his spyglass to look into the next building and sees its some kind of hall with rich carpets and white marble. In the center is a pedestal with a floating purple crystal. They find out it is some sort of conjuration crystal emanating abyssal energy surrounded by a protective field.

They head over to the central structure and hear a voice call out from the back stairwell "WHO DISTURBS DEERIX! WHO ARE YOU! I AM A DRAGON!" and Suicu speaks to him but casts his Arcane Eye spell sending it up to spy on the creature. It appears to be just a Kobold, a dragonlike creature but far removed from an actual dragon. Jock chases him down and knocks him down and drags him back to the others. They interrogate him and get him to lead them to the library.
