Frontier Session 17

Session 17: 10-02-2025

The party camps out at the meeting point and watches for any movement. Eventually Suicu starts flying and sees movement in the bushes. Going back and informing the party that someone is approaching Jock rushes forward to meet them.

They find out that it's a Brighwater Guard patrol of the 1st rifles and after some discussions they agree to follow them to their base blindfolded. Arriving a few hours later at an abandoned plantation called New Halcyon Plantation they meet with Lieutenant Jazra Olmanan who is in command of the rebels. She explains war has broken out between the Kingdom and the Empire and they're using this to fight back against the Imperial forces. There are also 2 survivors, a mage and a knight, from the Kingdom ship hiding out at the plantation.

Worried about being overheard by the Kingdom people they relocate to the makeshift guardtower in the old mill to discuss and plan. Suicu lays out his plan to capture the steam tank, sabotage the mechs and to sink the Ironclad with explosives. Boarding the zeppelin possibly through commandeering the troop transport they've seen. Kirre and Jock will go back to the Thri-Kreen and the Orcs to pick up additional forces in particular some mystics to be used for communication and coordinating with their telepathic abilities.

As the party hunkers down in the camp Glee and Hiron work on creating the bombs needed to sabotage the ship. Suicu goes on a scouting mission and intercepts a scout Ornithopter.

Kirre convinces the Orcs to send the tribe that is currently ready to march ahead while Jock rushes to the Queen of the Fire Kreen to ask for aid. He manages to get a small squad of soldiers and 4 mystics. They get back onto the ship with their new forces and sail back.

We end as Suicu is trying to capture or destroy the ornithopter.
